Border Control

Boundaries of undefined lines
I curse their invisibility
I tiptoe closer, temptation in staccato
Consequences I beg, you deny
Perhaps an invitation on the sly

I am honest in my lies
Claiming our reality never made me cry
You do not know my tears
Taste like acid rain, sweetly sustained

My smile never reaches your eyes
Obscured by love undisguised
Graced to another unafraid
Burning languidly in your loyal embrace

And finally, the lines become clear.
